Washington Post Drops BOMBSHELL That Could SINK Trump’s Campaign: ‘In August, We’re…’

Presidential politics have been dirtier than ever this year, and it seems as if the media is working in concert to take out Donald Trump. Such is the case with the Washington Post, who just dropped a major bombshell that could end The Donald’s campaign.

In an unprecedented move, the Post is amassing a massive team of reporters to dig up whatever they can on Trump, and it’s being led by Martin Baron, who previously led investigations into the Catholic priest sex scandal when he worked for the Boston Globe. The comprehensive biography is set to be released in August, and depending on what they find – and whether or not it’s factual – it has the chance to cause some damage to the Trump campaign.

The Daily Caller has more:

The book will be released whether Trump wins the Republican nomination or not. Baron told the Associated Press in a statement that Trump is “major political figure and is expected to remain one.”

Over two dozen reporters and researchers are reportedly working on the book. It will be co-authored by reporter Michael Kranish and senior editor Marc Fisher.

Trump hasn’t exactly had a great relationship with the Post this election cycle, and something like this isn’t going to help one bit. Although given their contentious relationship thus far, one has to wonder if the book is going to be nothing more than a contrived hit piece to inflict as much damage as possible before anything in it can be disproven.

After all, it wouldn’t be the first time that lies have been printed about Trump, and it likely won’t be the last. And as we’ve seen in today’s times, all it takes are accusations without evidence to do irreparable harm to someone’s reputation.
