Democrats have found a new target to go after. What a cushy job these scumbags have. 

Video games…

Let’s spend millions of dollars going after video games instead of taking care of important business- what a freaking joke.

Breitbart has the goods:

A Democrat lawmaker in Illinois has announced he wants to ban the sale of Grand Theft Auto (GTA), along with other video games that feature violence, after his state witnessed an increase in the amount of carjackings.

Democrat state Rep. Marcus Evans introduced the bill, HB 3531, which aims to amend an Illinois law preventing violent video games from being sold to children to an all-out ban on the sale “of all violent video games” to anyone,  Breitbart reports.

In typical democrat fashion, instead of addressing the actual issues that lead to violence in certain states and cities, they choose to control and manipulate and strip parents of their parental rights.

The government already has control of your children, where and when they can go to school, what is allowed to be taught in schools, allow abortions without parental consent, passing a bill to allow 16 year olds to vote and the list goes on.

It’s smart really, they are creating an environment to manipulate children to openly and happily taking a knee, so long as they get their little treats.

During a press conference on Monday, Evans mentioned Grand Theft Auto by name and put into his own words what he believes to be an example of a violent video game. According to Evans, “a video game that allows a user or player to control a character within the video game that is encouraged to perpetuate human-on-human violence in which the player kills or otherwise causes serious physical or psychological harm to another human or an animal” is an example of a violent video game.

“The bill would prohibit the sale of some of these games that promote the activities that we’re suffering from in our communities,” Evans said.

“Grand Theft Auto and other violent video games are getting in the minds of our young people and perpetuating the normalcy of carjacking,” Evans continued. “Carjacking is not normal, and carjacking must stop.”

Children rebel against their parents, that is simply part of life and the experiences of life, both as a parent and as a teen.  Video games do not incite teens nor adults into running out and breaking the law and causing havoc, riots and looting.

When are people going to realize that the democrats are doing exactly what China has implemented on their citizens?  They control everything in a person’s life and give each person a “social rank” and depending on what their rank is, is what “privilege’s” a person may have.

Breitbart furthered their report, Evans also insisted that games like GTA promote behavior similar to that which has been seen prominently in Chicago.

As noted by the Washington Examiner:

Carjackings in the city doubled in 2020 compared to previous years, and juveniles, some of whom are as young as 11, have found themselves behind bars for felony crimes. On Monday, two teenagers, ages 13 and 14, were arrested after allegedly presenting weapons and stealing a vehicle from a 42-year-old in connection to a January incident.

According to NBC’s local affiliate in Chicago, the Windy City will see an estimated 1,800 pus car burglaries in 2021. More than 40 law enforcement officers have been assigned to task forces aimed at curbing the theft. More than 1,400 carjackings were reported across Chicago in all of 2020, more than double the amount in 2019 and the highest since 2001.

It must be easier to blame video games, music and even cartoons, yes I said cartoons.  They banned “Bugs Bunny” because they claimed it promoted violence and racism.  The democrats and sheep have gone after the music industry countless times and almost won that one!

My point, is that we are not a free people and we certainly are not protected against overreach, especially in today’s cancel culture society.  Until people can see the truth, we will never be able to have an open dialogue with one another, which would actually lead to peace and unity.
