Perhaps a select few of our national politicians have actually been listening to voices and reading the handwriting on the wall: The STOP Act is aimed at holding Obummer accountable for the myriad violations of the U.S. Constitution.

The Act’s sponsor, Rep. Tom Rice, R-SC, intended his legislation to

“bring a civil action for declaratory or injunctive relief to challenge certain policies and actions taken by the executive branch.”

The Constitutional power of the Executive branch is to enforce laws enacted by Congress, not to ignore or break constitutional mandates.

Rep. Rice wrote,

“President Obama has adopted a practice of picking and choosing which laws he wants to enforce. In most cases, his laws of choice conveniently coincide with his Administration’s political agenda. Our Founding Fathers created the Executive Branch to implement and enforce the laws written by Congress and vested this power in the President. However, President Obama has chosen to ignore some of the laws written by Congress and implemented by preceding Presidents.”

Including his own, the STOP Act has garnered support from 29 members of Congress and still has a long path to tread before coming to even a preliminary vote in a House committee before landing on the House floor for an open vote.

Contact your elected representatives and require their support to the STOP Act as well!
