A worthless thug tried to rob an Ohio convenience store and let’s just say, things didn’t exactly go as planned. In fact, the fool screwed up big time and got shot!

Surveillance video obtained Friday shows the clerk behind the counter when the suspect, Emanuel Hamm, 27, walked into the M & M food market and gas station in Darbydale Thursday night with a handgun.

The clerk told Fox 28 Columbus that Hamm looked suspicious to him.

The clerk’s suspicions were spot on. Police said Hamm intended to rob the place, but the quick acting employee had different plans.

“As soon as I saw the gun, I pulled mine and I shot him,” the clerk said.

In the video there is gunfire and then Hamm is seen running like a coward towards the door.

The clerk didn’t want to be identified, according to Fox.

He expressed sympathy for the man he shot.

“I feel bad for him, but I didn’t have a choice,” the clerk said.
