Fox News’ Andrea Tantaros gets some sweet revenge against one of her rivals, MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski, who she calls “the nastiest woman on the Upper East Side” in her new book titled ‘Tied Up in Knots.’

In the chapter titled “Twisted Sisters” Tantaros recalls the encounter with the liberal snob who pretended not to recognize her at an event.

 

Tantaros said she went up to the MSNBC host to say hello, as Brzezinski has previously interviewed her, but received a “less than thrilled” reception, Tom Tillison at BizPac Review reports.

“She furrowed her brow as if trying to search for recognition,” Tantaros says of Brzezinski’s reaction to her, adding that after an awkward moment of silence, she decided to move on.

“Wait, what’s your name?” Brzezinski asked, followed by, “And what show are you on?”

Tantaros noted that “The Five” was the second highest rated show in all of cable news at the time, which means it would be almost impossible to believe that Brzezinski had not heard of the show.

She repeated herself to Brzezinski, emphasizing Fox News for clarity, writing that Brzezinski responded by saying, “Ohhhh . . . You work at Fox because you’re preeeettty.”

“No. I work at Fox because I’m smart,” Tantaros fired back.

Tantaros notes she didn’t “have dad’s coattails to ride” like the MSNBC co-host did. Her father is Zbigniew Brzezinski, who was President Jimmy Carter’s national security adviser.

Granted, Brzezinski’s status as the daughter of a brilliant political strategist did not take away from her accomplishments, but neither did the fact that Tantaros was beautiful take away from her own accomplishments.

The MSNBC host judged her Fox counterpart in a very harsh, disrespectful, immature and just plain mean way. She should have known better. She really ought to apologize to Tantaros … unless she really is as “nasty” as Tantaros wrote.

Liberals are a foul breed.
